Education Officer

Italian Association for Aid to Children is an international organization which promotes children’s rights.

CIAI is currently launching a new Education Project in Svay Rieng Province aiming to improve performance of Students in primary and secondary schools with the active participation of children, parents/caregivers, school support committees members and community people. The project wants to see that every child feels to be “support and encourage” to his/her education.

The position: CIAI is seeking for Education Officer base in Svay Rieng Province. Primary role is to assist the Child Friendly School Program Manager in the implementation, management of the projects.  As well as transferring the skills and the knowledge needed by CIAI staff for immediate application of methodology, especially for children and community participation in other projects/programme.

The role of the Education Officer is to ensure that the Education Project is fully implemented in a correct manner and in accordance with the project logframe and proposal.

in collaboration with  CIAI team, collaborates/integrates with Program managers and staffs, other internal stakeholders as well as external stakeholders (partner organizations, Government etc.). 
The position requires knowledge and experienced in implementation of Education in Cambodia Context, Especially Child Friendly, Children, and Community participation Approach or alike. The positions reports to the Child Friendly School Program Manager/Country Director.
