Save the Children’s mission is to inspire breakthroughs in the way the world treats children and to achieve immediate and lasting change in their lives. Save the Children programs focus on Education, Health, Child Rights Governance, Child Protection and Humanitarian. We work with government partners and local NGOs to improve children’s live especially marginalized and disadvantaged children.
With funding support from the WB, Japan Social Development Fund, Save the Children is an implementing partner, under the Voice and Action: Social Accountability for Improved Service Delivery Project WB I-SAF (VAA), and will support the demand side in the implementation of the social accountability framework in 5 provinces: Stung Treng, Kratie, Tbong Khmum, Prey Veng and Pursat. Save the Children is looking for high quality motivated candidate to fill in the position of Capacity Development Coordinator based in Phnom Penh.
The Purpose of the Role
The Capacity Development Coordinator will have general responsibility to (i) coordinate all VAA project related activities undertaken by the Save the Children and liaise with other ISAF implementing organizations; (ii) build the capacity of project staff and partners; (iii) support and back-stop project staff and local NGO (LNGO) partners; and, (iv) contribute to ISAF learning and monitoring.
