EPOS is a leading health management firm working globally to improve the quality and accessibility of health services and systems.
We are currently looking for experts in the field of mother & child health, medical obstetrics and gynaecology, midwifery and obstetric care, basic laboratory medicine and blood banking (for CEmONC), newborn care, post-abortion care; experience in training / coaching / supportive supervision of different cadres of health staff; M&E for an upcoming project with GIZ as detailed below:
1. 1 National Long-Term Expert (Deputy Team Leader) – up to 33 person months. Specialist in gynecology/obstetrics, midwifery and obstetric care, newborn care, post-abortion care and vulnerability; experience in training / coaching / supportive supervision of different cadres of health staff; M&E. Additional training in Public Health is an asset
2. 5 National Long-Term Experts for the areas of midwifery, obstetric and newborn care (Qualified midwives or nurse-midwives) - up to 33 person months each. At least 5 years’ practical working experience. Expertise in capacity building is mandatory. The experts shall be placed in the target provinces( Kampong Thom, Kampong Speu, Kep and Kampot) close to the Operational Districts and health centres where they will cooperate with counterparts.
3. 1 National Short-Term Expert- up to 4 person months. At least a Master degree in social or medical sciences and at least 5 years expertise in health promotion, behaviour change communication (BCC), social marketing techniques, media and community participation. Very good spoken and written English.
All experts are expected to have very good spoken and written English.
Project name: Improving maternal and newborn care in Cambodia
Duration of project: 04/2016-12/2018 (33 months)
Project Objectives: The objective of the project is: Families with small children are increasingly benefiting from improved quality health services for mothers and children.
The project aims at enhancing the quality of care, in particular of emergency obstetric and neonatal care through improving quality of processes; building personal skills and competencies of clinical as well as managerial staff; and enhancing the personal and institutional capacity to deliver high quality pre- and in-service training and care. In addition, the project aims at building the competencies for inclusion of people with disabilities.
