GIZ is a federally owned enterprise and is supporting the German Government in achieving its objectives in the field of international cooperation for sustainable development.
We are looking for a candidate for the position of Advisor – Vulnerable Groups (national professional) to be based in Phnom Penh with frequent travels to Kampong Thom as well as Kampot and Kep.
One of the German Technical Cooperation Programs financed by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development supports the Ministry of Health (MoH) and the Provincial Health Departments Kampong Thom, Kampot and Kep in improving Social Health Protection and quality of health services.
The specific objective of the Technical Cooperation module Social Health Protection is to improve equitable access to quality health services for poor and vulnerable groups. It supports two main output areas: health systems financing and health service delivery - particularly mechanisms for quality improvement. Citizen participation to strengthen transparency and accountability of health services and inclusion of vulnerable groups, i.e. older persons and persons with disabilities are additional interventions.
